Paving Stone Driveway Project— San Carlos, CA
Here's a paving stone driveway built with Calstone Quarry Stone pavers with the relatively new color for their quarry stone paver line, Cameron Cream. This particular style of paving stone worked well with this beautiful Tudor style home. The home owners already picked it out before I met them so they knew exactly what they wanted.
We service the Bay Area: San Jose, Saratoga, Sunnyvale, Los Gatos, Cupertino, Los Altos, Menlo Park and neighboring cities.

Calstone Pavers is a Beautiful Paving Stone
Calstone quarry stone pavers have a natural look, hence the name quarry stone. For this style of house, an antique style paver would have worked well too. The quarry stone line has some really beautiful colors and this cameron cream color is no exception; it reminds me of the color "cream tan brown" from their classic cobble collection. The color really works well and ties into the house color and trim, as well as, the roof. The brick pillars, however, are not too my liking, but they do add to the old-world charm of the house.
Dealing with Brick Pillars
We had to be really careful with the pillars because the asphalt driveway was sticking to the brick and the brick pillars were somewhat fragile. We had to make several cuts and pull the asphalt off the pillars with extreme care. Luckily, we didn't have any issues. Had we not been careful I think the pillars would had some damage and fixing old brick to match the rest of the brick is nearly impossible as the grout will rarely match the existing grout that has been their for well over thirty years.

Delivering Paving Stone for the Driveway
This driveway was pretty straight-forward except for the busy and narrow street. It also didn't help that the project was on a curved corner. We needed to have two full time flag people on both sides of the street because this driveway had an entrance on one side of the street's curve and an exit on the other side.
The two days of demolition were the trickiest as was the paving stone delivery. For this particular paving stone delivery, we had to use the small truck and make several deliveries because the street was so narrow and all the connecting streets had dramatic turns and were also narrow. I couldn't imagine how a big semi with a long flat bed would make it through. All in all, for the demolition and paving stone delivery, we managed to make it happen.
We are your Choice for Paving Stone Projects
Even though it was a busy street, we had the opportunity to chat with a lot of the neighbors who would walk their kids to and from the nearby school. So that made up for the tricky logistics. We ended up getting another project down the street because of it. It was a relatively small patio project, but still, a project nonetheless.
There are so many paving stone options for your paving stone driveway project or your paving stone patio project that you're sure to find something that will make you happy and your neighbors envious.
