Paver Patio Project—Mountain View
Such a tiny, cramped space yet with so much potential. For a town house with limited outside area it's important to utilize the space wisely and that's just what the owner of this patio decided to do. We took out everything except the plants along the fence line. The concrete, the middle fence, the home depot style pavers all had to go. Instead, we replaced all of that with some nice flat, antiqued paving stones with some beautiful colors. The paver design color combination is brown, charcoal, gold and a subtle hint of purple. We also sprinkled in some grayish/blue that the owner liked. We placed a row of pavers on their edge to accentuate the planting area.

Paving Stone Patio
The challenge we faced for this project was simply the access. We had to go through the neighbor's yard. Luckily, the house was up for sale and there were no occupants. Had there been some uncooperative neighbors we would have had to go through the house, which we've done before. It's not the best working conditions and it's certainly a distraction for the homeowners, but ultimately it's for a greater good, right?
The end result for this Paver Patio in Mountain View is a bigger, prettier, usable space. This paving stone patio has just enough space to have some people over for dinner or a nice little spot to drink your morning coffee.
When I think about my backyard and all the maintenance required to keep it looking pretty, I can sure appreciate a nice, simple patio area with relatively no maintenance. Rather than cutting the grass and pulling weeds on my day off I could be sitting back reading a book!
